The Little Paddocks

Our Little Paddocks Room offers high-quality care and education for children aged 1–2 in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Building on learning from the Baby Barn, we focus on the Prime Areas of Learning to support early development.

Children develop confidence and physical skills through daily large movement play, including soft play and climbing equipment. Independence is encouraged through self-care routines such as mealtimes and handwashing, supporting fine motor skills and confidence.

Communication and language are promoted through daily interactions, role play, stories, and songs, helping children build vocabulary, social skills, and emotional understanding. Sensory, creative, and messy play activities are provided daily, alongside focused tuff tray activities tailored to children's interests.

Our experienced team supports children's emotional wellbeing, encouraging exploration, choice-making, and positive relationships. The room operates with a 1:3 staffing ratio, with additional 1:1 support during settling-in periods. Parents receive daily updates via the Parent Zone App, along with regular progress reviews. The room is fully equipped to meet children's care needs and is covered by CCTV to ensure a safe and secure environment.
